Joyce Wong

Hailed by the South Florida Classical Review for her “sweetly sung portrayal of Suor Genevieffa”, Joyce Wah-Sheung Wong made her debut as Barbarina in Opera Hong Kong (OHK)’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro. This season, Wong will appear in Beauty and Sadness, a new opera directed by Carolyn Choa and designed by Tim Yip; perform Zerlina in Don Giovanni with OHK; and Musetta in La Bohème with Teatro Petruzzelli. Exciting highlights from previous seasons include singing Despina in Così fan tutte; Juliette in Romeo et Juliette, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia; Frasquita in Carmen and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte. She placed third in the Yokohama International Music Competition. She is an alumni of Jockey Club OHK Young Artist Programme. Wong is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and Boston University.
